Challenge Day 7

Smart guy. Closets are cleaned out and waiting for laundry to be put away. Dishes are done. Clutter is being removed piece by piece, and I'm fighting the urge to go buy a latte. I have a feeling I'm going to be losing this battle.

I dunno who this guy is, but he certainly has a way with words. Again with the "forest through the trees.." Trying to stay focused on my goal - to simplify, declutter, and save. I'm finishing up on the obligations I've made, and I'm staying away from new ones right now.

I think that sometimes I get so wrapped up in what I want to do, I end up half-assing what I *need* to do. I'm trying to remember quality over quantity..

Focus. Focus. Focus.

Love Those People

Went to the Roasterie today, half-zombified. I walked up to the counter, and one of the barista's said, "Hey Sara! Iced or hot today?"

"Hot," I mumbled.

Next thing I knew, I had a large vanilla latte in my hand.

There is nothing more awesome than feeling the love in a coffee shop.

Challenge Day 6

I did it. Yesterday, I handed everything over to Mike. He's in charge, and I have an allowance! This is a huge step in my 21-day Challenge, because now I don't have the resources to make unnecessary purchases. He has the checkbook, ATM card and bills in hand. I have $20.

Now if I could just get rid of some more clutter, I'd be doing really well.. it's coming. Gotta get some scrap projects off my plate real quick, but it's coming.
