My biggest regret..
Most of you (if there's actually anyone reading this) have already heard this story, so I'll just give the shortened and condensed version:
Started dating Matt when I was 16 - moved in, got engaged, he left me for another girl 3 weeks before we were supposed to get married. We had been together for 5 years.
So my absolutely biggest regret - of my entire life - is having stayed with him for that long. A lot of good things came out of that relationship, and I'm not going to get into all of that here, but I am definitely glad we were together.
HOWEVER, he cancelled our wedding plans four times in five years. Why did it take me that long to realize that we weren't supposed to be together?
I regret losing five years of my life to him. I feel like I really could have accomplished a lot and experienced a lot if I hadn't devoted that time to a dead relationship - not "dead-end" relationship, but just plain dead.
That's it - end of regret. =)

Sara,
Just know that by being with Matt for those five years allowed you to be free to meet and marry Mike .. which then led to the blessing of Zion. While it may seem like a waste, just believe that the growth you made afterwards made you a perfect match for the love of your life. Smile at that.
